1938 Alfa Romeo 8C Wins Best Of Show Award At Pebble Beach

Alfa Romeo 8C 2900BThe 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta (phew…that’s a mouthful) has won the Best of Show award during the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The car was owned by Mary and John Shirley from Medina, Washington.

While every car there was extraordinary, the Best of Show car is always a stunner. This year was no exception. One of possibly five 8C 2900s bodied by Touring, this 8C has the supercharged straight 8 that was good for an amazing 180 hp.

Alfa Romeo 149 Pictures Released

We were excited and pleased with the Alfa Romeo MiTo – but I think that has been trumped by the new 149. Auto Express released a couple pictures of the new hatch to the online community and we were more then eager to get our hands on them.

Spy Photo Of Acura NSX Prototype

Acura NSX PrototypeSpy shots were taken of the new prototype of the Acura NSX. Usually we don’t write much about an a new Acura that is being produced – but it looks like Acura might be changing their look. The S2000 makeshift bodywork has been replaced by a classic and what looks to be a long-hooded profile of a sports car. It looks much more aggressive than previous Advanced Sports Car Concept.

Acura NSX Prototype Spotted At Nurburgring Track

Acura NSX PrototypeMore spy shots of the Acura NSX prototype was taken this week – but this time it was found running laps on the Nurburgring test track. Whether or not this was a positive test is something that we are trying to figure out.

We heard that the car was being driven around so hard and fast that it left front wheel of the car caught air during one of the hard corners. Unfortunately the heavy camouflage makes it hard for us to get a better look at the car.

Lexus LF-Ch Concept Debuts At The 09 LA Auto Show

Lexus LF-Ch ConceptLexus is known as a world leader in premium luxury hybrids market ever since 2005 when it came out with the RX 400h. But now has decided to diversify just a little bit with its new concept car the Lexus LF-Ch Compact Hybrid that has already been seen at the Frankfurt Auto Show on September 15, 2009 but will make its North American debut in December at that 2009 Los Angles Auto Show.
